What will my first day in the Intensive Outpatient Program be like?

On your first day in the Intensive Outpatient Program, you will meet with your case manager to develop an individualized treatment plan. The evening will begin with a skills group session, then a therapeutic meal, followed by a process group.

What should I bring on my first day?

On your first evening in the program, please bring dinner with you. The program provides supplemental food, if necessary. The admissions department will have additional information during your intake evaluation.

What shouldn’t I bring to the Intensive Outpatient Program?

Please do not bring blankets or excessive personal belongings. We ask that each person bring just one small bag each day. Electronic devices are permitted only during break times.

How long can I expect to be in the Intensive Outpatient Program?

The average length of stay is approximately four to six weeks. You will work with your treatment team to determine the most effective length of stay.
