Walden in Massachusetts

Massachusetts is home to our flagship location and national headquarters. With care facilities conveniently located near Boston – one of the nation’s leading hubs of medical and clinical innovation, we offer all levels of specialized eating disorder care for children, teens and adults of all genders. Our specialized programs across the state include the only dedicated eating disorder hospital, one of the nation’s only athlete-specific eating disorder programs and treatment offerings for adults living with binge eating disorder. In addition to our hospital, we also have a residential program in Waltham and eight satellite locations providing day and evening programs.

Because we know that eating disorders thrive in secrecy, we do our best to include family and/or loved ones into your treatment as much as possible. The focal point of our adolescent treatment program is the Family-Based Treatment approach and is designed to give parents an active and positive role in helping their child to reduce disordered eating behaviors, restore weight and resume proper adolescent development. Our welcoming and compassionate care team look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

Coming Out Day

As proud allies, we are proud to foster a community, both for our patients and our employees, that values inclusivity and diversity.
