Walden Residential Facility in Waltham

Our residential program is conveniently located across the street from our inpatient unit making transitions to differing levels of care as seamless as possible. With 16 adult beds and eight adolescent beds, you can feel confident that you will receive the individualized attention that you need and deserve. We welcome individuals of all genders in our separate adolescent and adult treatment spaces. We know that eating disorders often thrive in isolation – that is why we do our best to incorporate your family and/or loved ones into your treatment. In fact, Family-Based Treatment is the focal point of our teen treatment program and is designed to give parents an active and positive role in helping their child to reduce disordered eating behaviors, restore weight and resume proper adolescent development. The team at our residential program is committed to ensuring that you are prepared for life outside of treatment. For adolescents, we provide time daily for school work so that your studies can continue. Adults will be supported in preparing and cooking your own meals and take part in outings that are designed to mimic real-life experiences.
