Now open, the largest 24-hour inpatient and residential care facility for adolescents and adults with eating disorders in the United States.

We appreciate the importance environment has in your recovery journey. With that in mind, we brought together leaders from the hospitality, innovation, and healthcare worlds, along with feedback from past patients, to design a truly innovative space that inspires healing.

This new 68,000 square foot state-of-the-art building is located in Dedham, MA, twenty miles south of Boston. The Walden Behavioral Care Center for Recovery has 82 beds dedicated to residential care and inpatient hospitalization welcoming teens (11 years old and up) and adults of all genders experiencing all eating disorder diagnoses.

While the facility in Dedham is innovative and new, Walden has treated more than 25,000 people with eating disorders since 2003. The Walden Behavioral Care Center for Recovery is led by our extraordinary team of passionate leaders who bring evidence-based and refreshed medical, nutritional, and therapeutic approaches to your treatment. The diverse team is made up of innovators, clinicians, administrators, social workers, business professionals, dietitians, nurses, mental health counselors, psychologists, doctors, naturopath leaders, and expressive arts experts who are all dedicated to helping you receive the specialized care you need and deserve.

Onsite amenities include a coaching kitchen, chef and full culinary team, dedicated spaces for music and art therapies, spacious bedrooms, including single rooms, and natural light throughout.
