Eating Disorder Day Programs

Partial Hospitalization Programs

Independent living with structured daytime programming up to six days per week

At Walden Behavioral Care, we are proud to offer one of the nation’s only full systems of care for specialized eating disorder support. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides structured day support for teens and adults of all genders who do not need overnight support.
PHP helps you to better understand the function of your eating disorder. This involves identifying the triggering thoughts and feelings that can often drive behavior. You will learn and practice skills that are designed to replace disordered behaviors and manage stress.

In-person and virtual programs available

Our PHP runs Monday – Friday for six hours each day. An optional sixth treatment day is available on Saturdays for adult patients who feel they need more support. We offer this level of care virtually and in person at many of our locations across Massachusetts and in Connecticut.

More info on our in-person PHP and virtual PHP programs for adolescents and adults.

Intensive Outpatient Programs

Flexible support three days a week to fit your busy schedule

Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide flexible care for teens and adults of all genders at each of our locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut and in Georgia.

If you already have outpatient providers, we will work directly with them. If you do not currently have an outpatient team – that’s okay! One of our goals will be to help set you up with providers in your area to help you continue your recovery after your time with us. Together, we can then focus on addressing everyday stress that can often contribute to eating disorder thoughts and behaviors.

Our IOP runs three mornings (or three evenings in many locations) a week for three hours each day, allowing flexibility for most people to continue with work or school.

More info on our in-person IOP and virtual IOP programs for adolescents and adults.

You are not alone. We’re here to help.

If you are concerned that you, or a loved one, may have an eating disorder, we are here to help. Please fill out the form on this page or email intake_coordinators@waldenbehavioralcare.com to connect with a member of our Welcome Center. Begin your journey to recovery today.
