Treatment Programs

Specialized Integrative Psychiatry Services

Using our integrative approach, we work with individuals from the “inside out,” using genetic and biomarker testing methods. These tests give our providers a glimpse into each individual’s internal environment, helping to identify possible underlying causes of symptoms and behaviors. Looking for clues within the body from a cellular level allows us to both treat the symptoms, and address whatever is causing or contributing to symptoms. We combine the best of conventional and integrative methods in treating our patients. Interventions may include genetic / biomarker tests, supplementation, dietary recommendations, and/or traditional medication.

Genetic and Biomarker Testing

Our care is highly individualized to most effectively treat each of our clients. Below are examples of some of the lab values that we evaluate:

  • Heavy Metals
  • Levels of Vitamins and Minerals
  • Dietary Allergies
  • Levels of Yeast and Bacteria
  • Pyroluria
  • Nutrient Biomarkers

Nutrition Counseling and Supplementation

We provide patient-centered, science-based care by analyzing each patient’s unique genetic, biochemical and nutritional status. It is important (in examining the human body as a complex network of interacting symptoms) that we do not forget to address nutrition as an integral factor in overall health. In recent years, a growing amount of research has been published indicating the effects that mineral deficiencies can have on both the physical body and the mind. For this reason, our team of professionals test for several common mineral deficiencies such as zinc, iron and calcium in addition to assessing for nutritional deficiencies / intolerances / allergies that can all impact mood and affect.

Psychopharmacology / Medication Management

What we know about many mental illnesses is that there is often a strong associated biological component. As such, we explore psychopharmaceutic options with our clients that can help to minimize or alleviate unwanted symptoms.

  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Eating Disorders
  • Post – traumatic stress disorders (PTSD)
  • Depression and other mood disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • First-episode psychosis
