balancing-act-elephantEven though I am recovered, I never stop adding support and personal growth to my arsenal to ensure I stay strong, free and balanced.  I attend a few eating disorder conferences each year where I gain more knowledge and meet more people to help me in my journey of life.  I also attend personal growth workshops to ensure I am in balance in body, mind and soul.  I make new friends along the way and gain strength inside and out.  Having support on all fronts, keep me living a healthy, safe, secure and balanced life.

No matter where you are in your journey of recovery, always seek support and growth.  It takes an army to fight off Ed so look where you need to build that army to keep fighting.  You can’t, and don’t have to do it alone.  It is important to find what you need in every fashion to ensure strength.

Attend a support group; go to a conference, be part of a development workshop, reach out for something spiritual, join a club that interests you, match with a mentor, or connect with friends, family, co-workers, professors or clergy.  Doing so will build your army and get you stronger inside and out.

Continuing to connect with new people and gaining knowledge in various ways, reconfirms the commitment and strength in your recovery and self-growth.  Always seek more support and personal growth no matter where you are in life for doing so helps foster self confidence, stability, security, balance, self-love, pride and strength.

Build up your army and continue to fight and win.
