First Line of Defense: Risk Factors and Treatment Strategies for Athletes with Disordered Eating

This presentation will explore the unique risk factors for eating disorders faced by competitive athletes across sport, age and gender. Warning signs specific to disordered eating behaviors in athletes, strategies for developing healthy team culture, and the importance of a specialized multi-disciplinary treatment will be discussed. Case presentations will be featured and time will be allotted for questions and answers.

Eating Disorder Treatment for Transition-Age Clients
